Music Programmes

P3 Showchoir

In this programme, Primary 3 students experience the excitement of singing and performing as a show choir. They develop good vocal techniques, learn simple choreography and expressive movements, and perform songs confidently as a team. Through rehearsals and performances, students build musicianship, creativity, collaboration, and self-confidence while developing an appreciation for singing as a performing art.

Recess Jams and Performances

Recess Jams provides students with a relaxed and enjoyable platform to make music together during recess. Students perform familiar pieces on the ukulele and resonator bells in an informal setting, allowing them to apply the skills learnt in music lessons while sharing their music with peers. The programme encourages active participation, builds confidence and ensemble skills, and nurtures a love for music-making within the school community.

P6 Brazilian Drumming

After the PSLE, Primary 6 students explore the exciting rhythms and ensemble techniques of Brazilian drumming. Through collaborative rehearsals, they develop rhythmic accuracy, teamwork, and performance confidence while experiencing the joy of making music together. The programme culminates in a final performance at the school's Recognition Day, where students celebrate their learning and mark the end of their primary school journey.

Siling Got Talent

Siling Got Talent provides Primary 6 students with a platform to showcase their talents in the performing arts, including singing, dancing, acting, and playing musical instruments. Students have the opportunity to express their creativity, develop confidence, and demonstrate their performance skills in front of their peers. The programme celebrates students' diverse talents while fostering self-expression, collaboration, and an appreciation for the performing arts as they conclude their primary school journey.
