Special Events’ Space: CoLab Wall

In conjunction with key NE and school events, students have many opportunities to contribute to and witness the exhibition of artworks on Si Ling Primary School’s CoLab Wall. Ever-changing throughout the year, the CoLab wall and its artworks are a fun and bustling space that brighten our daily life here in Si Ling Primary School.

P4 Museum-Based Learning to National Gallery

As part of a nation-wide programme for all P4 students, an MBL journey to Singapore National Gallery is a core learning experience in their primary school Art education journey. Aligned with ongoing curriculum modules, the MBL aims to provide inclusive and authentic art learning experience as part of student development experience:

Think about how the different influences from the diverse cultures in Singapore have shaped our national culture

Understand the importance of knowing Singapore’s history, multicultural heritage, the stories of the different people who came to Singapore to make up the Singapore society, and the stories of our families. 


This experience not only enhances student Art vocabulary for discussions, but also builds the foundations of museum-going habits and etiquette for our students.

An exciting opportunity to see their artworks manifested in a real world context, P5 students share their design ideations for the cohort P5 Camp T-Shirt.


P6 Graduation T-Shirt Competition

As junior designers, our P6 students are given the space and voice to design a Graduation T-Shirt digitally on Canva that represents their cohort. With class and cohort votings determining the chosen design, our P6 students experience the real-world context of working with a client brief and application of design principles learnt.

P6 Clay Mural Legacy

At Si Ling Primary School, it is a bittersweet feeling seeing our students learn, grow and eventually leave our care to move on in their life. As is tradition, each graduating cohort leaves behind their legacy in a collaborative mural- where each student’s individuality is embraced and acknowledged within the cohort.
