Choir

The Si Ling Primary School Choir gives pupils a space to find and develop their voice — from pitching and projection to choral techniques — while nurturing a lifelong appreciation for music. Choir members come together not just to sing, but to tell stories, evoke emotions, and create something greater than the sum of their parts.

Members perform at a wide range of school celebrations, including Chinese New Year, National Day, Racial Harmony Day, International Friendship Day, Children's Day and Recognition Day. Beyond the school gates, they bring their music to the wider community through events such as the Woodgrove CCC National Day Dinner, NUSS Singathon, choir exchanges and kindergarten outreach. The choir has also represented Si Ling proudly at the Singapore Youth Festival, earning a Certificate of Commendation (2022) and Certificates of Accomplishment (2024 and 2026). Through every rehearsal and performance, members grow in confidence, teamwork and commitment — and forge lasting friendships through music.

Dance Club

The Si Ling Primary Dance Club is where movement meets expression. Through dance, pupils develop coordination, flexibility and a keen sense of rhythm, while discovering how to communicate and connect with an audience through their bodies. Every rehearsal is an opportunity to push boundaries, refine technique, and bring performances to life.

The journey from practice to stage teaches pupils something just as valuable as the steps themselves — the discipline to keep going, the teamwork to move as one, and the perseverance to give their best when it counts.

Dance members perform at key school events including Chinese New Year, National Day, Racial Harmony Day, International Friendship Day, Children's Day and Recognition Day, and have represented Si Ling at the Singapore Youth Festival, achieving Certificates of Accomplishment in both 2024 and 2026. They have also been invited to perform at Fuchun Community Centre for the Chinese New Year dinner celebrations for the Woodlands community (2026).

Guitar Ensemble

The Si Ling Primary Guitar Ensemble invites pupils to explore the world of music through the guitar — learning to play, listen, and perform together as a cohesive group. Through a varied repertoire that spans different styles and genres, members sharpen their musical ear, deepen their creativity, and develop a genuine appreciation for the craft.

Rehearsing and performing as an ensemble builds more than musical ability; it builds character. Pupils learn to be disciplined in their practice, attentive to one another, and committed to a shared sound. 

The ensemble performs at school events including Recognition Day celebrations, and has represented Si Ling at the Singapore Youth Festival, achieving Certificates of Accomplishment in both 2024 and 2026. They have also been invited to perform at Woodgrove Community Centre for a National Day performance for members of the Woodlands community (2025).
