Ngau Yue Ning
Raffles Girls’ School (Secondary)
Former Prefect & SciEinsteins CCA Member
“ My name is Ngau Yue Ning, and I am currently a Secondary 1 student at Raffles Girls’ School (RGS), having graduated from Class 6 Solidarity at Si Ling Primary School in 2025. My six years at Si Ling were a journey of growth, friendship, and discovery. The teachers here shaped me not just academically, but as a person — instilling values like resilience, integrity, and empathy that I carry into secondary school today. Their dedication has even inspired me to become a teacher myself one day. Beyond the classroom, Si Ling gave me opportunities to pursue my passions, including Math Olympiad competitions that ignited my love for Mathematics. Most importantly, I leave with friendships that continue to stand the test of time. To current students: cherish every moment — these years pass faster than you think. And to the staff: thank you for your dedication. You have made a difference that lasts well beyond graduation.”
Siddarth Rajesh
Raffles Institution
Former Assistant Head Prefect & SciEinsteins CCA Leader
“My name is Siddarth Rajesh, and I am currently a Secondary 1 student at Raffles Institution (RI). I graduated from Class 6 Solidarity at Si Ling Primary School in 2025, where I was a member of the SciEinsteins CCA. My six years at Si Ling were filled with growth, opportunity, and memorable experiences. From participating in the Students’ Voice Forum to serving as Assistant Head Prefect in Primary 6, Si Ling consistently gave me platforms to develop my leadership and build my confidence, a journey that began as early as Primary 1 when I was first appointed as the class monitor. One of my proudest achievements was representing Si Ling Primary in the Young Sustainability Champions 2024 Science Competition, where my team clinched the Gold Award. I still meet up with my Si Ling friends regularly, and those bonds remain as strong as ever. To current students: strive to be better than you were yesterday. Progress, no matter how small, is always worth pursuing. To my teachers, thank you for your guidance, care, and belief in me. Si Ling gave me the foundation I needed, and I am deeply grateful.”
Ragavan Kannappan
Raffles Institution
Former Prefect & Football CCA Vice-Captain
“My name is Ragavan Kannappan, and I am currently a Secondary 1 student at Raffles Institution (RI). I graduated from Class 6 Solidarity at Si Ling Primary School in 2025, where I served as Vice-Captain of the Football CCA. My teachers conducted engaging lessons and guided me with patience and care, especially during the lead-up to PSLE. When I struggled after my Primary 5 exams, it was their encouragement and tireless support that helped me refocus and ultimately qualify for RI. I am particularly grateful to Mdm Emilia, Miss Mumtaj, Mdm Nora, and Mr Ashri for believing in me. Some of my fondest memories include the P5 Camp, the “Chillax” session with parents and peers, and emceeing the Teachers’ Day celebration. These experiences pushed me out of my comfort zone and helped me grow as a leader and as a person. To current students, do not get so caught up in your studies that you forget to invest in the people around you. To the current staff, please continue being the wonderful and inspiring educators you are. I hope all students and staff have a great path ahead! “
Liu Enrui Merilyn
Chung Cheng High School (Yishun)
Former Prefect & Brownies CCA Leader
“My name is Liu Enrui Merilyn, and I am currently a Secondary 1 student at Chung Cheng High School (Yishun). I graduated from Class 6 Solidarity at Si Ling Primary School in 2025, where I was a member of the Brownies CCA. My six years at Si Ling were filled with opportunities to lead, collaborate, and grow. From touring parents around the school and caring for kindergarten children, to building a booth for Entrepreneur Day, these experiences taught me independence and responsibility in ways that textbooks simply cannot. One memory that stands out is my class winning the Primary 5 Camp. It was not just about the win itself, but the teamwork and determination my classmates showed throughout that made me truly proud. To current students: no matter how tough things get, get back up and keep going. Stop worrying about what you cannot control, focus on what you can, and trust that everything will slowly fall into place.”
Natarajan Roshan
Victoria School
Former Prefect & SciEinsteins CCA Member
“My name is Roshan Natarajan, and I am currently a Secondary 1 student at Victoria School. I graduated from Si Ling Primary School in 2025, where I was part of the Floorball CCA before joining SciEinsteins.
Si Ling gave me many opportunities to grow. Tamil competitions built my confidence, kindergarten outreach as a prefect taught me responsibility, and winning the Silver Award at the Visual Spatial Mathlympics remains one of my proudest moments. After PSLE, I also discovered a love for chess that I hope to develop further.
One teacher who truly stood out was Mr Ashri, whose humour and engaging Science lessons made every lesson a joy. Of course, some of my fondest memories are the simpler ones: the thirst-quenching drinks from Stall 8, which closed when I was in Primary 3, and the “running joke” with friends that still ends with me chasing someone down the moment they say “horsey.“ To students and staff: keep believing in learning, kindness, and growth. The values Si Ling builds in you will carry you further than you know. All the best, Si Ling! 🏑🌟”
Muhammad Eshan Khalif Bin Mohamed Farouk
St. Joseph’s Institution
Former Prefect & Floorball CCA Member
“My name is Eshan Khalif, and I am currently a Secondary 1 student at St Joseph’s Institution (SJI). I graduated from Si Ling Primary School in 2025, where I was a member of the Floorball CCA and represented Si Ling in the National School Games (NSG). Si Ling shaped me both academically and as a person. The lessons were engaging and enriching, and the CCE lessons stood out for teaching me how to understand myself. As a prefect, I had the privilege of hosting events like the Students’ Voice Forum and the National Day celebration, experiences that built my confidence in public speaking and gave me a real voice in shaping the school. One teacher I will always remember is Mdm Hassanah, my Primary 4 Malay teacher. By weaving her personal experiences into every lesson, she made learning engaging and helped me find my footing in the subject. My proudest moment, though, had little to do with grades. To current students, your character matters far more than your grades. And be grateful, for the dedicated teachers you have and for a school that truly cares about you. To the staff, thank you for six years of guidance and support. “
Sun Haolie
Catholic High School
Former Environment Ambassador & Infocomm CCA Member
“I am Haolie and I am in Secondary One studying at Catholic High School. I graduated in 2025 in Infocomm CCA and I am also the Environment Ambassador. I am still in contact with some of my old school friends. My proudest moment was when I achieved the score of AL 7 for PSLE and the time when I got Gold for both NMOS and SASMO Math competitions. Si Ling Primary provided me with strong foundations in all my subjects. It also gave me great ways to relieve stress during Primary Six such as the CHILLAX session. My message for the current students is to start early to prepare for PSLE. Cherish the memories you have with your primary school friends as you may not be able to see some of them in secondary school.”
Li Ziyu
Cedar Girls’ Secondary School
Former Prefect & Basketball CCA Leader
“My name is Li Ziyu, and I am currently a Secondary 1 student at Cedar Girls’ Secondary School. I graduated from Class 6 Solidarity at Si Ling Primary School in 2025, where I was a member of the Basketball CCA. Si Ling was where I truly found my footing. I am especially grateful to Mdm Nora, who helped me improve from AL4 to AL1 in Mathematics, and to Mdm Emilia, who supported me consistently from Primary 3 all the way through to Primary 6. Representing Si Ling in the National School Games (NSG) and various art competitions gave me confidence and helped me discover strengths I did not know I had. My proudest moment was finishing in the top 3 in Primary 6, a result that reminded me that hard work truly pays off. The friendships I built at Si Ling have also stayed with me. My classmates and I text almost every day, swapping stories about our new schools and reliving our favourite memories together. To current students, treasure every moment at Si Ling and never give up. Every challenge is simply an opportunity to grow. And to the staff, thank you for your patience, dedication, and care. You have shaped more lives than you know.”

My journey in Si Ling Primary School was meaningful and helped shaped who I am today. One of my proudest moments was serving as an Assistant Head Prefect, where I developed my leadership and speaking skills. I also made many kind and supportive friends, some of whom I am still close to today, and these memories will always stay with me. Although receiving my PSLE results was a challenging moment for me, the encouragement from my teachers helped me understand that trying my best was what truly mattered. I am grateful for the guidance and care shown by my teachers. To the students, do not be discouraged by setbacks, keep trying your best. Ethan Toh Wei Jun
Chung Cheng High School (Main)
Former Prefect & SciEinsteins CCA Leader
“My name is Ethan Toh Wei Jun, and I am currently a Secondary 1 student at Chung Cheng High School (Main). I graduated from Class 6 Solidarity at Si Ling Primary School in 2025, where I was a member of the SciEinsteins CCA and served as both a Prefect and CCA Leader. The school placed equal emphasis on academic excellence and character development, and that balance made a real difference in how I grew. Among my proudest achievements was winning the Gold Award at the Young Sustainability Champions competition with my CCA team. I clinched the Silver Award at the SASMO Math Olympiad, an opportunity made possible through Si Ling’s enriching programmes. Through the Math E2K programme, I discovered a curiosity for mathematics and a dream of becoming a mathematician one day. One memory that stands out is the pre-PSLE wind-down activities, where we played human foosball and tried archery. To current students, stay positive, especially when challenges come your way. And to the staff, thank you for nurturing me through six formative years. The experiences I had at Si Ling will stay with me always.”
